Saints RB Alvin Kamara pleads no contest in Las Vegas beating incident

New Orleans Saints running back Alvin Kamara has agreed to a plea of no contest stemming from an incident that saw a person beaten in  Las Vegas.

Kamara will plead to a misdemeanor charge of breach of peace in a Las Vegas night club.

He will do community service and pay $100K to the victim for medical bills.

By this plea, Kamara avoids a felony charge. He still could face an NFL fine/suspension for his role in the incident.

“Alvin is pleased that this matter is behind him and looks forward to a successful NFL season,” Kamara’s attorney David Chesnoff said in a statement.
