The New Orleans Saints are the only team still waiting to hire their next head coach, but they could be getting close to finally figuring it out as they complete another round of interviews.
NewOrleans.Football reporter Mike Triplett shared the news just a few minutes past midnight on Tuesday morning that the Saints had completed their in-person interview with Philadelphia Eagles offensive coordinator Kellen Moore.
In the past few days, Moore has begun picking up steam as a legitimate candidate for the head coach opening. Now the team took advantage of the opportunity to meet with him with the Eagles now on the off-week before the Super Bowl.
This was a great weekend for the 36-year-old’s resume as Philadelphia pummeled the Washington Commanders by a score of 55-23 in the NFC Championship. Everything was working on offensive as Moore called a great game.
