Saints 2024 rookie wide receiver has been cleared from his ankle injury

The New Orleans Saints’ injury bug is a brutal one, and in the 2024 season they dealt with injuries at pretty much any position you can think of. One of the positions hit the hardest was the wide receivers, including Chris Olave, Rashid Shaheed, and Bub Means early on.

The rookie of the group, Means, suffered a high-ankle sprain during Week 8 of the season, and would end up missing the remainder of the year recovering from it. He initially tried to come back from injured reserve but suffered a setback in practice and was shut down. Means did look strong when his playing time got bumped up, and having him alongside the previous two mentioned would make for a pretty solid receiving core heading into 2025.

Having Means fully healthy will also help his development throughout the offseason, and will allow him to get up to speed with whoever the new head coach becomes for the Saints as well.
