Saint Peter’s has become the underdog that everybody has come to love in the past week of the NCAA tournament and that love will only continue to grow after what the Peacocks did Friday night in Philadelphia – they upset No. 3 Purdue to become the first No. 15 seed in history to advance to the Elite Eight.
Wow.
Saint Peter’s took a four-point lead in the final minute of a back-and-forth game against the Boilermakers and were able to hold on for the 67-64 victory.
They will play the winner of tonight’s North Carolina-UCLA game on Sunday.
It’s been a wild week for the small school, which you can get to know right here.

This postgame interview was awesome:
"What they gonna say now? Cinderella, underdogs, this, that — listen, I've got guys that just play basketball and have fun."
