Sainsbury's has issued a statement after works at the Beeston store resulted in a temporary closure of the car park.
Resurfacing works have been taking place at the car park at Sainsburys in Beeston on Stoney Street. Maintenance work to the Beeston site is being carried out this week at the supermarket's main car park, overflow car park and car park entrance.
The resurfacing on the overflow car park was completed on Wednesday April 12 after works took place between 8am and 5pm.

Work on the main car park will take place on Thursday, April 13 between 8am and 5pm and is expected to be complete d that day, the supermarket chain said. Lastly, work to the car park entrance will be finished after the store closes at 4pm on Sunday, April 16.
A Sainsbury’s spokesperson said: “We are carrying out some maintenance on our Beeston store car park. We would like to thank our customers for their patience whilst the works are completed and we apologise for any inconvenience caused.”
