Sainsbury's and Argos shoppers have been crying with laughter after spotting a neon sign that apparently looks like it says something very rude.
Staff unknowingly stocked the shelves with the light-up sign, which has since gone viral on social media.
Shoppers did a double take when walking down the aisle and spotting the swirly writing on the sign, which is reduced from £15 to £7.50.
The sign reads "Be Kind", a slogan which has become important in battling the stigma behind mental health.
However, shoppers saw something far more crude at first glance, reports Manchester Evening News.
Helen Blackhurst spotted the neon sign in a store and shared a snap of it on the Family Lockdown Tips and Ideas group on Facebook, expressing her disbelief.
"Can we have a strangest Christmas decoration thread?" she commented in a post next to the photo.
"I fully appreciate the irony with what it says."
"B***end?!" one person suggested, while another chimed "that's exactly what I thought."
"All I can see is b***end" another commented. Now I can't unsee it!" another joked.
The post went viral, sparking an array of comments from fellow Facebook users speculating what the sign said.
Several shared their own "strange" decorations while others were in stitches over the Sainsbury's gift.
One mum said she saw the "Be Kind" sign in Sainsbury's a few days ago.
"It was my daughter who is nine that translated it to me. Could not work out what it said."
Another shopper said they were also confused by what it said.
"Saw this in Sainsbury's today. Had to read the price label to know what it said," they added.
A Sainsbury's spokesperson said: "We offer a range of great value neon lights at Argos, with the 'Be Kind' light currently available at half price.
"We're sorry for any confusion that may have been caused."
Sainsbury's is among major British supermarkets to offer Christmas veggies for a discount price of 19p.
This includes Brussels sprouts (500g), carrots (1kg), parsnips (500g), red and white cabbage, swede and potatoes (2.5kg).
