Mumbai: Actor Saif Ali Khan has been discharged from Lilavati Hospital, 5 days after he was stabbed six times by intruder during a burglary attempt at his Bandra home, reports Dynamite News correspondent.
His mother and veteran actor Sharmila Tagore and his wife and actor Kareena Kapoor Khan accompanied him. He was stabbed six times by the intruder. The 54-year-old actor had undergone two surgeries.
Accused sent to Police Custody
A 30-year-old man, who was arrested by Mumbai Police on Sunday morning in connection with the attack on Bollywood actor, was sent to police custody by a Mumbai court till January 24.

The man was arrested from Thane by the police. He is suspected to be a Bangladeshi national, according to the Mumbai Police.
The accused was identified as Mohammad Sharif Islam Shehzad (30).
Fake name
The accused adopted fake name of Vijay Das. According to the police, the accused has confessed to the crime.
