Here is the most recent product recalls:
H&M
H&M is recalling a hair clip with led light over safety fears.
The battery compartment of the hair clip may break, leaving the alkaline batteries (2pcs) accessible.
There is a risk that a child may put the batteries in the mouth, nose, or ears, and consequently could suffer severe internal injuries.
Immediately stop using the product and return it to the nearest H&M store for a full refund or contact hm.com. No receipt is needed.
There have been no reports of incidents or injuries.
The hair clip has been sold at the children department in H&M stores and at hm.com from July 23 to October 29 2021.
Primark
Primark is recalling a wooden xylophone with pastel-coloured notes and a wooden percussion stick for playing the instrument.
In a statement, the store said: "It has come to our attention that the product “Wooden Xylophone” for children aged 10+ months, which is pictured above, does not meet the Primark® usual high standards for safety.
"There is a risk that small parts may become detached from the product, which can be a potential choking and/or ingestion hazard.
"With the safety of our customers at the forefront of our minds, we are inviting you to return this product for a full refund.
"The product was on sale in our UK stores from 14 April 2021."
If you have purchased this product, return it to any Primark store where you will be offered a full refund.
You will not be required to provide proof of purchase or a receipt in order to receive a refund.
Halfords
Halfords has identified a potential safety concern with their I-Size Revolve Child Seat.
The company has identified a risk of the rotating locking mechanism being able to be pushed open when in the locked position.
This issue could lead to the seat being able to come unlocked and therefore rotate whilst in the locked position.
This issue could be potentially dangerous in the event of a car crash.
If you have purchased one of these products, stop using it immediately.
Bring the product back to your local store, where you will be given a full refund and offered 15% off the purchase of a replacement seat.
If you have any difficulties in returning to your local store, contact Halford's customer support team on 03301359779 or email us at customer.services@halfords.co.uk
