London Mayor Sadiq Khan is urging the UK Government to establish a youth mobility scheme with the European Union.
Mr Khan argues this scheme could mitigate the negative economic impact of Donald Trump's global tariffs.
The scheme would allow young people aged 18-35 to work and travel freely between the UK and EU for up to two years.
While the UK government has resisted such a scheme, Mr Khan emphasises its economic benefits, particularly in light of potential trade disruptions.
He believes it would boost key sectors, bring in new talent and ideas, and strengthen ties with Europe.
