Sadio Mane could join fellow Liverpool legend Steven Gerrard in joining Al-Ettifaq as the Saudi Pro League continue their pursuit of some of the world's biggest names.
It has been reported that the Public Investment Fund (PIF) - the sovereign wealth fund of Saudi Arabia - 'dreams' of sending Mane to Al-Ettifaq, who are said to want to make Gerrard their next manager.
The Senegalese could be available for transfer after a tough first season at Bayern Munich. The 31-year-old joined the German giants last summer in a £35m deal from Liverpool, where he scored 120 goals in 269 across six trophy-laden seasons.
Sports Zone report: "Bayern Munich want to part ways with Sadio Mane. The Senegalese has been offered to Paris, Madrid and English clubs in previous weeks, contacts have so far been unsuccessful.

"The player also has a huge Saudi offer, the PIF dreams of sending him to Al-Ettifaq, he would join Steven Gerrard there. He also has the hand and can sign almost anywhere else if he agrees to join the championship."
Karim Benzema, the current Ballon d'Or holder, has joined his former Real Madrid team-mate Cristiano Ronaldo in the Saudi Pro League which, backed by PIF, are aiming to make high-profile additions both on and off the field.
Whether Mane joins the legendary duo remains to be seen. He has been linked with a return to the Premier League, with both Chelsea and Newcastle United reported to hold an interest.
Mane scored 12 goals in 38 games for Bayern this season, winning the Bundesliga and the DFL-Supercup. But after a promising start, he suffered an injured in November that ruled him out for more than three months and meant that he missed the World Cup with Senegal.
On his return he scored just one goal in his final 15 appearances of the campaign and following Munich's Champions League exit to eventual winners Manchester City, he was suspended and fined following reports he punched team-mate Leroy Sane.
