Sadio Mane has revealed it took 'just seconds' to make the decision to switch Liverpool for Bayern Munich this summer.
The 30-year-old completed his transfer to the Bundesliga champions this week and was formally unveiled as a Bayern player on Wednesday. He leaves Anfield after six years with the club and over 260 appearances.
Mane was about to enter the final year of his contract with Liverpool but instead opted for a fresh challenge abroad and he's now revealed how long it took him to make the decision to move to Germany.

"I was really, really clear in my mind," he told Sky Sports. "When I was told about the interest from Bayern we discussed it. I think it wasn't even days, just seconds and I made my decision.
"I think it's the right decision, the right time and the right club. As a Bayern supporter or a Bayern player, you know already the project of the club. If you play for this club you need to know you're here to fight for all the trophies possible."
The Winger scored 120 goals in his six years on Merseyside and won everything he possibly could with the Reds. He won the Premier League, Champions League, FA Cup, League Cup, FIFA Club World Cup and UEFA Super Cup.
The Senegal star established himself as one of the best in the world in his position and will no doubt go down as a legend at the club. That sentiment is echoed by manager Jurgen Klopp, who broke his silence on the transfer yesterday.
“It’s a big moment. There is no point in anyone trying to pretend otherwise," Klopp told liverpoolfc.com. “One of Liverpool’s greatest ever players is leaving and we must acknowledge how significant this is.
"He leaves with our gratitude and our love. He leaves with his status among the greats guaranteed. And, yes, he leaves in a moment where he is one of the best players in world football. But we must not dwell on what we now lose, instead celebrate what we were privileged to have."
