Outgoing Raith Rovers CEO Andrew Barrowman has spoken out on his sudden exit from the club - claiming he was shocked to learn his contract had been "terminated with immediate effect".
The Championship side announced Barrowman's departure in a brief statement on Friday, but failed to clarify whether he had been dismissed or had left of his own volition.
Now, Barrowman has revealed he received the "unexpected" news on Thursday that his employment had been terminated "due to the role of Chief Executive being made redundant."
