Sabrina the Teenage Witch star reunites with unrecognisable 90s boyband icon

Melissa Joan Hart gave fans a satisfying taste of nostalgia this weekend by cosying up to one of the many stars of 90s Con 2023, held at the Hartford Convention Center in Connecticut.

The Sabrina the Teenage Witch alum, 46, was there along with a host of other 90s legends including Saved By The Bell stars Mario Lopez, Mark-Paul Gosselaar and Elizabeth Berkley.

Posting a snap to her 1.7 million Instagram fans, Melissa couldn’t help but share her enjoyment at the reunion with former NSYNC singer Chris Kirkpatrick, 51.

She captioned the photo: “#90sCon is not only fun for the fans, it's also a blast from the past for me to be reuniting me with so many pals. Right @iamckirkpatrick?”

Wearing a tan leather jacket with a green and white print top, the actress beamed as she struck a pose next to the boyband member.

Best known for playing Sabrina Spellman from 1996 until 2003, Melissa first hit screens when she starred in the title role of series Clarissa Explains It All.

The actress, who shares sons Mason, 17, Braden, 14, and Tucker, 10, with husband Mark Wilkerson, also appeared in sitcom Melissa & Joey, alongside Blossom star Joey Lawrence.

Fans of the 90s were delighted to see Melissa and Chris looking so happy and rushed to the comments section to express their thoughts.

One person wrote: “These faces yank me back to my childhood and it fills my damn heart.”

“He's a 90s king,” added another social media user.

A third fan said: “My childhood. Love it.”

“Love this!” wrote a fourth.

While a fifth person gushed: “That’s wonderful! Love you Melissa.”

Fellow NSYNC member Justin Timberlake previously teased a reunion of the world-famous boyband more than after they split in 2002.

The 42-year-old singer turned actor said he would "never say never" when it comes to reuniting with his former bandmates JC Chasez, Chris Kirkpatrick, Joey Fatone, and Lance Bass.

Known for such bangers as Bye, Bye, Bye, Tearing Up My Heart and meme classic It's Gonna Be Me.

The five members have reunited a couple of times since they went on an indefinite hiatus, including at the 2013 MTV Video Music Awards and to receive a star on the Hollywood Walk of Fame.
