A TikToker has detailed a Short N Sweet encounter with pop girlie of the moment, Sabrina Carpenter, which ended up turning kinda *sour*.
Eliana Shiloh (@elshiloh) shared the wild encounter on TikTok, revealing that the pint-sized pop star actually paid for her coffee while out and about in Chicago. It sounds like the pair had an awkward yet hilarious exchange.
“I saw a bunch of videos during the day of her being spotted around Chicago with this umbrella and security and actual videos of her and I really didn’t think much of it,” the TikToker told her followers.
“I decided to go for a little walk and get some coffee,” she said, noting she popped down to a coffee shop called Foxtrot. After she had ordered, she realised she owed the barista $5.45, but she only had $5 cash on her.
“I remember that I have this $5 cash and I’m like, ‘Wow, if I use this $5 cash then the coffee is going to be free’ because girl math,” she said, before saying she planned to use her credit card to pay the 45 cents.
“While I’m pulling my credit card out for this 45-cent charge, I hear a voice behind me say, ‘I got it’.”

Standing behind Eliana was none other than Ms “Espresso” herself, Sabrina Carpenter, who handed a $1 bill to the cashier.
“I’m in shock, I have no idea what to say, Sabrina Carpenter just paid for my coffee. But something popped into my head and I just blurted it out,” the TikToker added.
“I looked Sabrina Carpenter right in the eye and I said, ‘That’s that me espresso’.”
The “Taste” singer seemingly responded to the encounter just days later, lip-syncing to a popular TikTok clip of Jennifer Lawrence singing in the movie Joy.

“And then I go and spoil it all by saying something stupid like ‘that’s that me espresso’,” Sabrina mouthed.
Eliana is somewhat convinced this isn’t a “Coincidence”, posting another TikTok titled “Sabrina Carpenter posted a TikTok about me”.
“It totally could just be because that is a tagline in one of her songs, but hundreds of people have been tagging me in the comments because that is what I said to her after she paid for my coffee,” the TikToker said.
“Option A, Sabrina remembers me, she thinks I’m funny and she posted the video about what I said. Or option B, it has literally nothing to do with me and is just because that’s in her song. I’m gonna be delusional here and choose to stick with option A.”
God, what I wouldn’t have given to be a fly on the wall during this interaction! I’m praying Sabrina spills some more tea (or coffee) about this whole awkward debacle soon.
