The Larkins ' actress Sabrina Bartlett has reportedly quit The Darling Buds of May reboot, according to reports.
The shock move comes amid rumours of the Mariette actress being involved in a disagreement onset. She previously described the cast as a "wild family".
Sabrina, who played the Larkins' eldest child alongside Bradley Walsh and Joanna Scanlan in the show, could leave ITV in a trouble as they try to find a replacement for a second series.
This news comes after a successful first season of the show, and popular Christmas Special.
According to the Daily Mail, Sabrina's publicist cited "scheduling clashes" as one of the reasons behind her sudden departure, but a second source has claimed that the star's decision to leave came following a clash on set.
Sabrina took on the role of Mariette in the reboot of The Darling Buds Of May, a role that kick-started the career of Hollywood superstar Catherine Zeta-Jones.
Many viewers of The Larkins might recognise Sabrina from the hit Netflix series Bridgerton.
She was born in Hammersmith and grew up in Fulham, and attended Tring Park School for the Performing Arts in Hertfordshire, before training at Guildford School of Acting.
Since graduating in 2013 she has landed roles in the likes of BBC's Doctor Who, HBO's Game of Thrones and the History series Knightfall.
She then went on to portray the role of Abigail Turner in 2019 for the third season of Victoria.
Bridgerton fans might recognise Sabrina as Siena Rosso, from when she starred in the popular historical fiction series.
When her ITV role in The Larkins came about, before series was due to launch Sabrina described the cast as a "wild family," before adding: "I felt very at home with everybody, sort of like falling down the rabbit hole and having a family overnight...
"After such a hard year for everybody, I think even being on set at all was such a privilege."
Based on the hit 90s show The Darling Buds of May, The Larkins, is a reboot of the classic TV show that follows a working-class family based in rural Kent.
Bradley Walsh and Joanna Scanlan led the cast when they took on the lead roles from Sir David Jason and Pam Ferris.
On-screen, Sabrina's character Mariette has has five siblings – Liam Middleton played brother Montgomery, twins Rosie and Davina Coleman portrayed the roles of Petunia and Zinnia; Lola Shepelev took on the role of Victoria and Lydia Page as Primrose.
The first series was brought to life by Simon Nye, and it aired last autumn with the final episode boasting of more than five million viewers.
On Christmas Day, a festive special aired which garnered around 1.8 million viewers in total, and prior to filming the Christmas special, Sabrina seemed positive about her co-stars and the programme as whole, which is why her sudden exit comes as a surprise to many.
At the time she said that she was: "definitely very excited and it's so great to be back working with everybody again, in this wonderful, eccentric, mad village."
