Goalkeeping coach Graham Stack has left the club with immediate effect.
Sabri Lamouchi was brought in as Bluebirds manager on Friday and it was thought he would keep the remaining coaching set-up which was in place.
However, Lamouchi confirmed after Tuesday night's game with Luton Town that Stack has left the club and the search for his successor is under way.

"He is not in the staff anymore," Lamouchi said on Tuesday when asked why Stack wasn't in the Cardiff dugout.
Sol Bamba, Dean Whitehead and Tom Ramasut remain part of the coaching staff, while academy goalkeeping coach James Wood, son of former Cardiff keeper George, was at Kenilworth Road on Tuesday.
Stack was appointed last summer by Steve Morison, having previously worked with Watford's academy. He lasted just seven months in the job.
He is the third member of the coaching staff to leave this month, with former manager Mark Hudson and ex-head of physical performance Patrick Wilson also having departed the club since the turn of the year.
