SA virus cases rise but no new deaths

South Australia has reported another 2089 COVID-19 infections, but no new deaths from the virus. (AAP)

South Australia has reported another 2089 COVID-19 infections, but no new deaths from the virus.

There are 97 people in hospital, including 13 in intensive care, where two people are on ventilators.

Active cases across SA stand at 19,030, SA Health said.

Tuesday's case numbers represented the first rise in SA after four days of falling infections.

The state's seven-day rolling average is 1949.
