South Australia has experienced an uptick in COVID-19 cases, recording 1958 new infections and another two people in intensive care.
The figures posted on Wednesday represent a daily increase of almost 600 cases, although the overall number of people in hospital dropped to 192.
Fourteen of those people are in intensive care and three are on ventilators.
Active infections in SA stand at 14,119.
A further easing of local restrictions could be announced as early as Thursday when the state's COVID Ready committee meets.
"Let's wait to see what we get through at that meeting tomorrow," Premier Steven Marshall told reporters.
"We've said from day one, we don't want to have any of the restrictions in one day longer than we need to. The hospital capacity is fine at the moment, we've flexed up that capacity which means we're nowhere near our total capacity within the health system.
"We have been very significantly reducing restrictions over the last four or five weeks, that's going to continue tomorrow."
Daily cases have sat between 1000 and 2000 since January 27.
SA's remaining coronavirus restrictions include density limits across a range of venues, a 50-person cap for family gatherings and mask mandates for indoor public places and on public transport.
