A man in his 30s is among 14 new deaths of COVID-positive people reported by South Australian health authorities.
The deaths occurred between March and May but were only reported by SA Health today.
The others who died were aged in their 60s to their 90s.
A total of 440 people with COVID-19 have died in South Australia since the start of the pandemic.
South Australia recorded another 3,482 cases of COVID-19 yesterday, taking the number of active cases in the state to 23,279.
There are 232 people with the disease in hospital in South Australia, including nine in intensive care.
The state recorded just over 3,000 cases a day each day from Saturday to Monday.
The latest genomic testing shows 99 per cent of cases were of the BA.2 Omicron sub-variant.
Almost 94 per cent of South Australians have received at least two COVID-19 vaccines.
Australian Medical Association national vice-president Chris Moy said he was worried the vaccination rate for children five to 11-years-old was still too low.
"It's just basically stalled at 55–56 per cent, so that group is probably relatively under-vaccinated," Dr Moy said.
"Now certainly children in general don't get as sick as adults, but the fact that that's stalled is really a problem."
