S Club 7's Rachel Stevens 'dating Dancing On Ice skating partner after split from husband'

Rachel Stevens is reportedly dating her former Dancing on Ice skating partner Brendyn Hatfield following her split from her husband Alex Bourne last year.

The singer, 45, is understood to have met professional ice skater Brendyn, 37, towards the end of 2021 when they were partnered for the following year's series of the ITV show.

They are said to have formed a friendship whilst training for the competition but their journey together on the show didn't last too long as they were the third pair voted out.

It's now been claimed that Rachel and Brendyn - who is also reportedly separated from his wife - are now dating, with the pair said to be "smitten".

A source told The Sun : "Rachel had a really great friendship and partnership with Brendyn and it keeps developing. They're really smitten and looking forward to the future."

They added that the S Club member hadn't been expecting to find love again at this point in her life but she's "feeling positive" about the future and "hopeful about a new start".

The source further commented that the Brit Award winner is taking each day as it comes at the moment and added that she is focusing on upcoming projects in her career.

ITV declined to comment when contacted by Mirror.

Rachel announced that she had separated from her husband Alex last year and the outlet reports that Brendyn split from his wife Jessica Hatfield around two years ago.

Rachel had married Alex in 2009. The former couple are understood to be co-parenting their daughters Amelie, 12, and Minnie, eight, following their separation.

Announcing their split, Rachel wrote: "I just wanted to share with you all that after time and consideration the difficult decision has been made for Alex and I to separate."

"While we are no longer partners in marriage, we will remain partners in parenthood to our beautiful girls and continue with love and respect for each other," she continued.

She concluded the statement last year by writing: "I feel so incredibly grateful for the life we built together and will now continue to be focused on moving forward united as a family."
