S Club 7 fans left furious after just one member turns up to sold-out concert

S Club 7 fans have been left fuming after just one of them turned up to sing a recent sold-out concert.

Two of the seven members, Tina Barrett, 46, and Bradley McIntosh, 41, had been booked to perform at a £23-a-ticket gig in a 150-capacity bar, with tickets selling out in under 90-seconds.

However, when it came to the big night, S Club fans were left highly disappointed when Tina was a no-show as she left Bradley to perform alone.

Bosses at Wyld in Newport, Isle of Wight, explained the misfortunate mishap, saying the decision was due to contract obligations after the band recently announced a 25th anniversary tour.

Following the gig mishap, fans took to Twitter to call out the band and the venue: "What a let down. Turned up to find out they can't perform as S Club as they've signed a contract and no Tina. Happy to take everyone's money though."

"What a disappointing night. I felt so bad for Bradley," another echoed.

"Absolutely raging!! Paid good money to see two members of S Club 7 and only one showed up. We weren't notified about this either," someone else fumed.

Following the controversy, a Wyld spokesman told Daily Star: "Sadly, this situation was out of our hands."

Tina, Bradley, Jo, Paul, Rachel, Hannah, and Jon will perform for crowds of up to 20,000 people during their tour in October.

Chatting to Alex Jones and Jermaine Jenas last week on The One Show, the noughties hitmakers discussed their 11 date tour in the UK and Ireland.

In a statement the group, consisting of Bradley McIntosh, Hannah Spearritt, Jo O'Meara, Jon Lee, Paul Cattermole, Rachel Stevens, and Tina Barrett, said: "After eight years it feels amazing to announce that we're reuniting and performing together again.

"We're so excited to bring the S Club Party back to our fans across the country to celebrate 25 years of S Club 7.

"We can't even believe it's been so long! Music and friendship have always been at the core of everything that we've ever done. We hope everyone can join us for one big party."

The group revealed it felt like the right time to reunite and their manager Simon Fuller reached out to them about the tour, and they have their own WhatsApp group.
