S Club 7 announce huge reunion tour for October 2023 including exciting Newcastle date

S Club 7 have announced that they will be reuniting and embarking on a massive tour of the United Kingdom this year, much to the rejoice of 90s and 00s kids who are no doubt familiar with the pop outfit's greatest hits. And the best news is, they're heading to the North East.

Made up of Bradley McIntosh, Hannah Spearritt, Jo O'Meara, Jon Lee, Paul Cattermole, Rachel Stevens, and Tina Barrett - the group shot to fame at the turn of the millennium. In their prime, they secured four number-one singles and a hugely successful album, simply titled S Club.

The group eventually parted ways in 2003, but are now set for a massive comeback tour 20 years later, spanning eleven dates - much to the delight of long-time fans.

Taking to the One Show on BBC One this evening (February 13) revealed the big announcement which pop music lovers have been eagerly awaiting. All seven members of the group joined hosts Jermaine Jenas and Alex Jones shortly after the big announcement, which landed on social media at 7pm this evening.

Speaking to hosts Rachel Stevens said: "We are very excited to say that we are going back out on tour in October, we're just so excited to get back out there and sing our hearts out and perform. We're celebrating 25 years which is just crazy, and yeah, so excited."

Bradley McIntosh, added: "If you know, you know. We're bringing the nostalgia, we're bringing the late nineties, early noughties. It's always a lot of fun and very positive. And I think in today's times we need a bit of positivity. We need picking up so that's what we're here to do."

Jon Lee, continued: "I don't think we have actually changed that much. When we haven't seen each other in so long we come back into the room and it's like you said - it's like it was five minutes ago. Our manager emailed us all individually at the end of last year and said about the anniversary, and then we set up our own WhatsApp group to get excited about doing the tour."

Paul Cattermole detailed how the group haven't quite began rehearsals, and urged fans to let them know which tracks they would like to see performed live. He said: "We're still sort of determining what we're going to put in the setlist for the show - and we would like our fans to let us know via social media.

"Just get yourselves on the official S Club socials what sort of songs that they might want to hear."
