Rylan warns 'you never know who’s listening in' as fans saw the 'real' him on Saturday Night Takeaway

TV favourite Rylan Clark won even more hearts as he raised laughs on Saturday Night Takeaway. In Saturday's episode of the fun-filled family entertainment show the Strictly - It Takes Two presenter had viewers in stitches as he had no idea he was being pranked by hosts Ant McPartlin and Declan Donnelly in their Undercover segment.

Rylan, who is fronting the BBC's coverage of Eurovision this year, thought he was spending a day filming for the song contest held in Liverpool. But he had been brought to a studio as mayhem broke out with Ant and Dec secretly watching and listening in.

The catalogue of chaos kicked off as Rylan at first struggled to get into the studio when the front door appeared to be broken. But he good-naturedly followed instructions to find an alternative door.

Using an actor posing as a director, Ant and Dec then gave instructions via an earpiece to get Rylan to say things in foreign languages, but they meant something completely different to what he was actually saying. At one point he read out: "Is it true I smell of cheese?"

Rylan was then pranked as he stood in front of a green screen and he was joined by a man entirely covered in a green suit as he was asked to ride on his back like a motorbike. He was then told that he would be introducing Armenia's Eurovision song.

Rylan smiled and nodded along enthusiastically as he watched their performance, only for his face to change to an expression of sheer panic as he saw one of the band's costumes burst into flames. He then had to think on his feet and tell viewers that there had been an accident, until he turned around and saw Ant and Dec who had been disguised as members of the band.

The following day Rylan wrote: "Cheers for your messages. Remember tele people…. Be nice to people at work, we ain’t anything special and you never know who’s listening in to a mic." And he was flooded with messaged from fans saying how the genuine Rylan had shone through.

@Charlottesayshi tweeted: "This!! You’re exactly the same on & off screen and that’s why so many love you, you can sense your genuine kindness." And @covber1 said: "Wise words, it's nice to be important, but far more important to be nice.
