Rylan shares health update on Eamonn Holmes as he visits ‘TV dad’

Former This Morning presenter Eamonn Holmes enjoyed a visit from a friendly face while he recovers from his back surgery and chronic pain. Fellow This Morning presenter Rylan visited Eamonn and gave fans an update on his recovery.

Rylan fondly refers to Eamonn and his wife Ruth Langsford as his "TV mum and dad" and in a video where he is trying out Eamonn's stair lift gave a health update about Eamonn. In the video Rylan is making Ruth laugh as he goes on the stair lift and he captioned the video: "Well someone had to go and check out the tech....@eamonnholmes. Good to see you on the mend," followed by three red love heart emojis.

In the video Rylan says: "Can I just say, I know you've been through it Dad but you've got an easy life here!" as he goes down the stairs in the stair lift. Welsh TV presenter Alex Jones, who recently opened up about the mental health of her husband, commented on the post: "This made me cry laughing!" While Amanda Holden, who recently hinted that Alan Carr could be replacing David Walliams on Britain's Got Talent, left a strength and laughing emoji.

Back in 2021, Eamonn discovered he had a dislocated pelvis and said his back was "out of alignment as a result". However, shortly after surgery the former This Morning host suffered a nasty fall at his Surrey home and fractured his shoulder in what he called a "massive setback" which has left him recovering since then.
