Rylan hits back at troll's vile remark he's 'mincing about as people die in Ukraine'

Rylan Clark has hit back at a troll's bizarre and nasty remark that he's "mincing about dreaming of tattoos" as "people [die] in Ukraine ".

The BBC Radio 2 host, 33, had innocently tweeted that he was thinking of getting a tattoo when the Twitter user had responded with a startlingly harsh and rude tweet.

Strictly It Takes Two presenter Rylan had simply tweeted: "Think I want a tattoo….. is this midlife or…."

But the troll replied: "People dying in Ukraine and you are mincing about dreaming of tattoos Grow up."

Hitting back, Rylan wrote: "U got any idea what I’ve done for the cause? No, because I don’t feel the need to plaster it all over social media so thanks and take care have a great eve."

Rylan's fans rallied around him, insisting that he shouldn't pay attention as one commented with thinking emojis: "Don't rise to it hun, im sure he is doing all he can for Ukraine too!!!"

While another tweeted: "he's got 2 followers sweetie, I wouldn't worry!"

"It's gone up to 3. Don't feed the trolls. And get a bloody big tattoo Rylan," one replied in response.

It comes after Rylan spoke last month about his mental health struggle following his break-up from estranged husband Dan Neal.

He said that he thought he was "too strong" to have a breakdown and that it "hit him like a baseball bat".

Following the collapse of his marriage last year, Rylan found himself struggling and he ended up taking four months off work.

Opening up about his difficult time on his podcast, Ry-union, he said: “I’ve never in my life thought that I would go through a crisis like that.

"But I did, ultimately, and it literally hit me round the face like a baseball bat, because I always thought I was too strong for it.

"Like, I’m never going to let anything like that happen to me, but then it does and it’s really, really hard to deal with.”
