Rylan Clark has revealed the moment he woke up naked in bed with his make-up artist after feeling 'knocked out' by anaesthesia after having his veneers replaced late last year.
The Radio 2 host, 33, waved goodbye to his fake gnashes after eight years in favour of a fresh set and joked about how the procedure left him feeling a little worse-for-wear.
Rylan revealed he was so out of it after heading back from the dentist, he woke up to find he had taken all of his clothes off in the night and his pal Denise wishing him good morning from the other side of the bed.
Explaining the veneers were "quite dramatic" to get off, Rylan told MailOnline : "I don't even remember getting them taken off because I was knocked out.
"I don’t actually remember anything but I do remember waking up in my bed fully clothed at about two in the morning getting changed, I was finally getting round from having them done, took off all my clothes to get back into bed and turned to the side and my make-up artist Denise went, "Alright darling."
'She had obviously come home with me cos she was worried I would choke and then I had to put my underwear back on."
Rylan added his new teeth are a lot smaller and that he wanted to make the change to make them 'more natural'.
Back in November, Rylan unveiled his new teeth after eight years of sporting veneers and joked how his mouth still felt swollen during an episode of Strictly It Takes Two.
Writing on Twitter, the presenter said: "After 8 years. It hurts, so much, but sometimes you just have to let go. I’ve taken the decision to say goodbye… to my teeth [laughing emoji] new smile imminent [smiling emoji]".
The Radio 2 DJ then shared the same message on Instagram, tagging cosmetic dentist Dr Richard Marques in the post.
Rylan has undergone somewhat of a transformation in recent months after he had a tough time last year following the break down of his marriage to Dan Neal.
Speaking on The Hundamental Guide To Life podcast, he said: "I had a bit of a dodgy year last year and I took a little bit of time out."
"And then the next thing I knew, I was like nine stone and I was like 'Oh s**t, this ain't good. I'm six foot four!'"
He added: "So I just got a trainer and was like 'Can you make me look a bit buff?' and he was like 'Yeah'."
The X Factor star opened up about his struggle with his mental health following the collapse of his marriage.
"Last year I properly lost myself. I wanted to get me back and make a better version", he added.
