Fans were gutted when Rylan Clark had to pull out of his Radio 2 radio show over the weekend because of a debilitating bout of the flu, but they were happy to see his most recent health update.
When the former Big Brother star pulled out of presenting his Rylan On Saturday radio show which airs from 3-6pm each weekend, fans were incredibly worried about him.
Rushed into hospital, the star documented the visit on Instagram – which caused concerned fans to worry about the health of the star.
But after sharing a health update today (February 15), fans are overjoyed to know he's doing okay, while some plead for him to be back on air soon.
Taking to Instagram to give his fans an update, Rylan posted a snap of his coffee table with a large glass jar that contained an array of yummy treats.
Filled to the brim with Happy Hippo bars, Rylan penned a caption which read: "Whenever I feel ill I turn into such a child. Resting up be back sooooooon."
Fans were happy to hear from the star, and the post ended up racking up more than 11,000 likes in a matter of hours.
Flocking to the comments to wish him well, one fan said: "Take good care of yourself babe and hopefully you will soon be fighting fit."
"Happy Hippos are the best and so are you! Get well soon,wishing you all the love in the world," said another.
A third person then penned: "Missing your show on Saturday..wish you were on the radio more...get well soon xx."
While a fourth said: "Get well soon,I missed hearing you on the radio at the weekend xx."
This update comes after Rylan revealed that he was rushed to hospital a matter of days ago, which was the reason for missing his radio show for two weeks in a row.
Posting on Instagram Rylan shared a snap from his hospital bed with a cannula in his arm, and wrote a caption which read: "Finally home after an extended trip to Costa del hospital. Slowly on the mend. Won’t be on the wireless tomorrow. Resting up. Be back soon."
Fans rushed to offer their well-wishes, with one commenting: "Aww babe hope you’re on the mend now!! Take all the time you need love you! Xxx"
The star has been suffering from a bad bout of the flu, and told his followers on February 4 that he had "gone and got the flu".
He said he wasn't surprised and had "been in bed for a couple of days".
Continuing, he said: "Have lat tested and not Covid thankfully but won’t be able to go on the wireless tomorrow. Be back soon x."
