Rylan Clark has teased that he wants to be "a little more real," saying that he has a persona in the public eye which has "different traits" than the other version of himself.
The presenter, 33 - whose real name is Ross Clark - has said that 'Rylan' is a more glamorous and "professional" version of himself, but he now wants to be a bit more 'Ross.'
He said: "Looking back at the last year it has been good to introduce Ross to Rylan. My real name is Ross." He said they are "two different people" and have "different traits".
"Rylan is all smiles, always in make-up. Ross is a bit more Peroni, one hand down the tracksuit. That is Ross," he commented about the two aspects of his personality.
He opened up about his personality whilst in conversation with Claudia Winkleman, 50, at the Southbank Centre yesterday (September 21) to promote his new memoir Ten.
"It is important to me as when I finished the book and did the Ross Meet Rylan chapter I think it was important to bring a bit more of me back," he said at the event last night.
Rylan added that it is "so easy to get lost in this industry," with him teasing that he enjoys saying things that perhaps he shouldn't and that he likes "being [himself]."

The Celebrity Big Brother winner - whose rose to fame on the X Factor a decade ago - has teased that he has decided to be a little bit more Ross now moving forward.
"Rylan is very slick and professional, and Ross is a bit different. So at the start of this year I was like 'Think a bit a little more Ross'," he explained at the event in London.
His upcoming memoir Ten: The Decade That Changed My Future will be released on September 29. It features stories from his life and chronicles his decade in the public eye.
