But the TV and radio star has shared the news that he won't be back on his show this Saturday after an 'extended trip to Costa del hospital."
Sharing a picture of his arm with a cannula on Twitter, Rylan wrote: "Finally home after an extended trip to Costa del hospital. Slowly on the mend.
"Won’t be on the wireless tomorrow. Resting up. Be back soon."
Strictly Come Dancing judge Motsi Mabuse was among the first to send her well wishes, writing: "Get well soon," with multiple love heart emojis.
@JulieDeighton3 said: "Hope you're feeling better soon mate sending you lots of love n hugs."
"Take care of yourself Rylan. Sending a hug or two your way," @BonMuss replied.
@Hayshometruths commented: "Everyone, I'm sure, is wishing you a speedy recovery and the very best."
"Hope you’re feeling all the love being beamed your way," @Sootysmith added.
Rylan had to take time away from his radio show last year following the breakdown of his marriage.
The TV star said in a statement in July that he and his former husband Dan Neal were both "prioritising" their mental health following their separation after six years of marriage.
Rylan, 33, then spent fourth months off work, including time away from his BBC Radio 2 show.
He had since opened up about the tough time he had in 2021.
Speaking to The Observer, Rylan revealed he had been hospitalised and got to a point where he "didn't think I could continue".
When asked if he meant continue with work or life itself, he admitted: "Both. I didn’t think I’d actually come back. I was very… gone".
He also explained on his own podcast, Ry-Union, that during this time he did not look at the news and he handed his social media accounts over to his management team.
Rylan returned to Twitter in September after a break of more than five months, tweeting: "So…. What did I miss?"
As well as returning to social media and his BBC Radio 2 show, Rylan also headed back to work on Strictly Come Dancing's spin-off, It Takes Two.
