Rylan Clark quips 'this is how I lose everything' after shock over price of toothpaste

Rylan Clark has made light of the shocking price of toothpaste after a post on social media caught his eye.

The star - who recently spent time working on a project with Amazon in Greece - is currently filming in Italy for his next TV gig with Robert Rinder reports Manchester Evening News.

The former Strictly It Takes Two host and Rob, known to many as Judge Rinder, are set to star in a new BBC travel show which will see the pair explore the art and culture Italy has to offer.

However, despite being abroad the 34-year-old has been paying attention to what's going on at home and keeping up with his social media antics.

On Twitter, Rylan reshared a post from No Context Brits who posted a picture of a supermarket shelf featuring a stack of whitening toothpaste that was being sold for a whopping £10 a tube. "A tenner for toothpaste," the account tweeted alongside the photo.

Rylan, who is famed for his striking pearly whites, then retweeted the post to his own 1.7m followers and quipped: "And this is how I lose everything." His comment quickly caught the attention of his followers as his replies became littered with crying laughing emojis.

@Just__Lisa__X wrote: "Gotta look after those pearly whites though Rylan!" @Pollyholics commented: "Took me a minute! Best tweet I've seen all day!" @deb25426 replied: "What!!!!!!! £10 for toothpaste!" @1d8a458c2fc5488 added: "Bloody hell that's a ridiculous amount of money."

Elsewhere, the star has been updating his loyal fans with some snaps from his filming trip.

In one of his latest Instagram posts, it appears the TV star was referencing his love life as he shared a selfie of himself, Rob and his pal and makeup artist Bernice Cole.

He captioned the snap shared to his Instagram Story: "Always 3rd wheeling."

He then added: "If you're in Florence, hit me up," alongside a string of crying laughing emojis.
