Rylan Clark has revealed he will miss his Radio 2 show after being rushed to hospital.
The former X Factor contestant, 33, but will not present his radio show tomorrow for the second week running.
He revealed to his Instagram followers that he had spent an “extended” period in hospital, although he did not disclose what was wrong.
Posting an image to Instagram of a drip going into his arm, Rylan wrote: “Finally home after an extended trip to Costa del hospital.
“Slowly on the mend. Won’t be on the wireless tomorrow. Resting up. Be back soon.”
He added: “Picture for ULTIMATE sympathy obvs.”
The star missed his usual slot Rylan On Saturday from 3 to 6pm last week after coming down with a bout of the flu.
He told his followers at the time: “Gone and got the flu (not surprised) been in bed for a couple of days.”
Following the breakdown of his six year marriage to Dan Neal, fans were left worried when Rylan announced a four-month break from his presenting duties on BBC Radio 2.
The presenter has now admitted that he got “quite ill” and even stopped eating following the end of his relationship.
