Rylan Clark returned to his hosting duties on BBC's Radio 2 today.
And as the 33-year-old logged onto the airwaves, after two weeks away, at 3 pm on Saturday, the telly favourite told listeners "he's back" before going straight to playing a song.
After the music wrapped, he went into more detail about being back to work, following a hospital stay, and after he playfully poked fun at being off due to suffering from the flu he confirmed that he is "bouncing fit."
"I want to say a massive thank you to Gary and OJ for stepping in the last couple of weeks, don't stress," Rylan said into the microphone.
Putting on a jokey voice and referring to himself in the third person, he continued: "He's alive, he's alive, he is back and bouncing fit and do we have a show for you this afternoon."
Rylan recently revealed to fans that he had ended up in hospital and was forced to pull out of hosting his BBC Radio 2 show.
The presenter shared a snap from his hospital bed with a cannula in his arm and told his followers: "Finally home after an extended trip to Costa del hospital. Slowly on the mend. Won’t be on the wireless tomorrow. Resting up. Be back soon."
At the start of the month, he explained he was unable to works as he was bedridden with the flu.

Taking to Twitter, Rylan updated his 1.6million followers with what happened.
"Gone and got the flu (not surprised) been in bed for a couple of days," he wrote.
The TV star continued: "Have lat tested and not Covid thankfully but won’t be able to go on the wireless tomorrow. Be back soon x."
Rylan issued a further update on his health whilst co-hosting the One Show on Thursday alongside Alex Jones, 44.
Welcoming her co-host onto the BBC show, Alex asked: "How are you lovely?" She said "people have been worried."
Rylan - who rose fame on ITV 's the X Factor back in 2012 - explained that he's feeling better, responding: "I'm good. So nice to be back. You know me, I just love a little drama."
He further commented in his response: "I'm very good now, thank you. I had a little bit of a dodgy time but I'm good."
Alex - who has presented the magazine programme since 2010 - then added: "You're looking well. Back on track."
In response to this, Rylan joked: "I am. It's a lot of make-up."
