Rylan Clark hits back at nasty troll after not 'plastering' his support for Ukraine over social media

Rylan Clark has clapped back at a troll after sharing an innocent tweet with his followers.

The BBC Radio 2 host had innocently tweeted that he was contemplating getting a tattoo when he spotted a rude response from another Twitter user.

Rylan, 33, had simply tweeted: "Think I want a tattoo….. is this midlife or…."

His followers were soon replying in their hundreds, with many sharing their own tattoo stories and making Rylan some inking suggestions.

But it was a comment from a troll that caught Rylan's eye as they replied: "People dying in Ukraine and you are mincing about dreaming of tattoos Grow up."

Clapping back at the comment, Rylan shared the message with his 1.6m followers and added: "U got any idea what I’ve done for the cause? No, because I don’t feel the need to plaster it all over social media so thanks and take care have a great eve."

Fans were soon backing the Strictly It Takes Two host and flocked to show their support.

@KarlaGeorge said: "He's got 2 followers sweetie, I wouldn't worry!"

"Oh for goodness sake, My heart aches for Ukraine and I’ve done my bit but I need escapism and distraction so @Rylan you keep doing what you do lovely," @sanfbirk replied.

@profmyster21 wrote: "Nothing but love for you Rylan. Talk is cheap, action is golden."

"Omg you would look incredible covered in ink Rylan! Keith is just jelly," @Allykatparker added.

And it's not the first time Rylan has hit back. The former X Factor star was applauded by his fans back in December thanks to his three-word response to a troll that branded him 'council nobody'.

The disgruntled Twitter user targeted the TV star after being unhappy with his appearance in an advert for car sales company, Cinch.

They tweeted: "@cinchuk I will never buy a car from you whilst that complete buck tooth ignoramus @Rylan is advertising your company! Illiterate, talentless, council nobody!"

They then added: "@CazooUK please learn from this!"

But after seeing the cruel tweet, Rylan felt the need to respond in a very simple way.

"THEN WALK MATE," he shared alongside the tweet that had been aimed at him.
