Rylan Clark has Eurovision dressing room 'stolen' as fans flood him with messages after new tattoo reveal

Rylan Clark appeared to jokingly suggest that his dressing room had been 'stolen' as he returned to commentary duties for the second semi-final of the Eurovision Song Contest 2023.

The TV and radio star was back on BBC Radio 2 alongside Scott Mills and the pair pulled out all the stops on Thursday night (May 11) as they dressed up as former Eurovision star Verka Serduchka and his "mother" to commentate on the proceedings, which decided the full line-up of acts taking part in the grand final of Eurovision 2023 on Saturday night (May 13).

And while the second semi-final show saw plenty of dramatic performances, viewers were left pretty distracted by none other than Peppa Pig who made an unexpected appearance. The giant pink children's character made a cameo during the interval, seemingly leading a conga line through Liverpool's M&S Bank Arena.

While hosts Britain's Got Talent star Alesha Dixon, Ted Lasso actress Hannah Waddingham and Ukrainian singer Julia Sanina were preparing to announce the results, Peppa Pig invaded the stage

The BBC's official Twitter account for the contest said: "Sorry folks, you cannot vote for Peppa Pig." And commenter Rylan joked the character had “taken over” his dressing room before the broadcast.

"My dressing room was removed today – it used to say Rylan and now says Peppa Pig," he said. He also shared a snap to Instagram of his dressing room which now had 'Peppa Pig' on a sign outside. "Someone seems to be in my dressing room," he typed alongside the image posted to his 1.6m followers.

It comes after the 34-year-old found himself causing a distraction for his fans after she revealed one of his tattoos. Rylan took to Instagram with a snap that just showed his legs in grey joggers. He hoisted one leg up to rest against the wall, displaying his swish white trainers and a small inking on his ankle.

"Girl power," he captioned the post alongside a red heard. And when asked what the text of the inking said, he re-confirmed that it did in fact say 'Girl Power', a phrase seemingly made popular by the Spice Girls back in the nineties.

And while fans loved the subtle inking, others had eyes on his designer footwear. @purnell_81 said: "Love the trainers.! @jennyasparling wrote: "Love the trainers. Where they from?" @spektra485 commented: "Amazing trainers… are they Louboutin?"

@hollyoakemily wrote: "Love the tattoo and the trainers." @jeaniecaroline replied: "I love those trainers Rylan." @ebarmby added: "Love your trainers."
