Rylan Clark posted a cryptic tweet on Twitter on Friday, July 29 which fans took to mean he was in a new relationship but the TV presenter later strenuously denied the suggestions on Instagram. Rumours that Rylan had a new partner began last month after he was apparently spotted kissing Ex On The Beach star, Declan Doyle, outside a nightclub.
Rylan, 33, posted lyrics to a song in French on Twitter. The translation read: “I searched for a meaning to my existence, I left my innocence there. I ended up with a helpless heart, I searched for love and recognition. I paid the price of silence, I hurt myself and I start again.”
But later on Instagram, Rylan wrote: "I tried to ignore it but this isn’t ok. For the past few weeks there’s been stories regarding my “relationship”. I’ve stayed out of it, ignored it, but this is ridiculous.

"I’m not in a relationship," he continued, "haven’t been for over a year and have no intention to. I’m looking after myself for a change and it’s staying that way. Hopefully this clears any fabricated stories up the past few weeks and to whoever is ‘selling’ them."
Last year, Rylan announced that he and husband of six years, Dan Neal, had split up. You can read more about that here. Rylan also claimed that he himself had made “a number of mistakes”. After the separation, Rylan took a 10-week break from his hosting duties at BBC Radio 2 to focus on his mental health.
In response to Rylan’s tweet, one person wrote "I love you Rylan" in French: “Je taime Rylan xxxx.”
A second said: “Time helps to solve so many things.”
Meanwhile, over on Instagram, fans of Rylan continued to share their support for the star. One person wrote: "So glad your looking after yourself Rylan!!"
Another person told the star: "You're loved and some weird people are jealous. Enjoy your life you deserve to be happy as and when you're read." For more showbiz and television stories get our newsletter here.
