Rylan Clark has been flooded with compliments from fans as he posted a new snap from his travels. The BBC Radio 2 host has recently been galavanting around Italy as he films a new BBC series alongside fellow TV star Robert Rinder.
The pair have joined forces for a new three-part travel series that's set to air on BBC2. With a working title of Rob And Rylan’s Grand Tour, the show will see Rylan, 34, and Rob, 45, follow in the footsteps of the romantic poet Lord Byron and English aristocrats who took on the Grand Tour.
The Grand Tour is a classic trip through Europe popular in the 18th and 19th centuries and the new show will see Rylan and Rob visit artistic treasures in Venice, Florence and Rome. The pair started filming their travels last month in Venice and have this week been seen taking in the delights of Rome.

And along the journey, the duo have been learning what it was to be a Grand Tourist, trying flamboyant Italian looks, fencing, dancing and romancing. But, as the saying goes, all good things must come to an end and on Sunday (July 9), Rylan shared that he'll soon be heading back to the UK as he and Rob wrap up filming.
Posting a selfie of the pair which appeared to show them riding around in an open carriage, Rylan wrote on Twitter: "I’m off to enjoy my final day in Italy, finishing the show we’ve been making. Spending it with the wonderful @RobbieRinder has been such a joy. Thanks Rob and to our incredible team. X."
Fans were soon replying to the post. @wongswonder said: "Can't wait to see this when it's aired. You two are so different but go together so well. Makes for excellent telly. Look after each other and enjoy your last day." @Maryjan37726644 replied: "I’m soo looking forward to watching this!! It’s going to be fab!!"
@tracygower41 said: "I genuinely can’t wait too watch this. Love you both." @yoshaza commented: "Can’t wait to watch such a great two some love you both! @RobbieRinder @Rylan keep them smiles going!" @chris_oliver14 added: "Can’t wait to see this. Hope you both have a great last day."
Rob also reshared the post, writing to his own followers: "'No great mind has ever existed without a touch of Essex' - Aristotle/ Rinder." He then added: "You’re one of the great ones my friend.." The TV star, known to many as Judge Rinder, had earlier shared the selfie himself and said: "Amor et amicitia in perpetuum. (Nice one bruva) @Rylan," with the beginning translated into English from Latin as: "Love and friendship forever."
Rylan had earlier taken to Instagram to share a snap of himself at the Trevi Fountain. The former It Takes Two host looked away from the camera as he posed in front of the landmark in a fancy black and white shirt. "Morning Trev," he captioned the post to his 1.6 million followers before quickly being given some advice.
Loose Women star and 'telly mum' Ruth Langford told him: "Make a wish!" @timpayne1820 replied: "Chuck a couple of coins in." @elainevincentcull said: "Beautiful photograph Rylan, hope you put coins in the fountain and made a wish." @gillz87 shared: "Looking fab hun, Rome is so beautiful enjoy!" @tinadh855 added: "Looking stunning Rylan. Have a fab time."
It comes as many want Rylan and Rob's friendship to become more than just friends after Rob decided to pull a bit of a prank on his co-star by telling the whole Twittersphere that they had gotten engaged. Criminal barrister-turned-telly favourite Rob previously took to Twitter with a gorgeous snap showing the two stars standing in what appeared to be the Italian countryside.
The views spread for miles while Rylan and Rob stood facing each other under the bright sun beating down on them, both while sporting crisp white shirts and trousers. "Elton’s set at Glastonbury has inspired us to tie the knot. I [heart] @Rylan," Rob typed alongside the snap on Twitter as fans rushed to share their congratulations with some believing the nuptials to be true. However, those wanting it to be real, were sadly disappointed as Rylan, 34, himself replied and confirmed: "Fake news he’s had a wine."
