Rylan asks Strictly's Kym Marsh 'what's wrong with you' as she talks 'imposter syndrome'

Rylan Clark shared encouraging words with Kym Marsh after she said confessed she has imposter syndrome while competing on Strictly Come Dancing.

Kym and her pro partner Graziano Di Prima found themselves in the dance-off last Sunday, with Bros singer Matt Goss and Nadiya Bychkova sent home by the judges.

Following the shock vote, Kym and Graziano appeared on Strictly spin-off It Takes Two, hosted by Rylan, where the pro dancer showered the ex Corrie actress with praise.

Speaking yesterday, ahead of their Quickstep this evening to Ballroom Blitz, Graziano said: "First of all I'm extremely proud of you.

"No matter what is going to happen tomorrow, I know this is a challenge for you personally because other than your job and everything, this is a challenge where you're doing something that it is out of your comfort zone and your challenging yourself.

"But you need to see with your real eyes because sometimes she doesn't see what she is."

Graziano continued: "She says like 'I'm horrible, I don't know how to do it' and I mean like, I ain't done an operation in my eyes I can see very well! You're doing brilliant and that's the challenge. That is where we are aiming for. The confidence."

Later, Kym began: "I do have a bit of imposter syndrome but I have to..."

Rylan interrupted: "You're Kym Marsh from Hear'Say, what's wrong with you?"

Kym burst into laughter at Rylan's words of encouragement.

The star described last Saturday's dance-off, in which she performed the Samba to Volare by Gipsy Kings, as "heartbreaking", on Instagram.

She wrote: "What a heartbreaking dance-off to win tonight. Matt and Nadiya, you have been amazing, you are gorgeous people and we will miss you enormously.

"Thank you so much to everyone supporting #teammarshiano on our journey. We are having the most incredible fun and continue to be inspired by your support," she finished.

After the dance off, the judges noted the improvement of both couples, but decided to save Kym.

"We will only grow from this experience and try to be better for you next week," she continued.

"It is such an enormous pleasure to explore the dances week by week and to entertain you. Please continue your love and support – we are endlessly grateful and truly humbled."

After Matt was given marching orders, he shared an emotional goodbye with Tess Daly and thanked his partner Nadiya.

"It’s an extraordinary experience, I have been in America for 25 years. Thank you judges for your candour, you’ve helped me in many ways, my posture – Anton, I am more aware of it," he told judges.

"This lovely lady beside me, a world champion with all the patience. I am very honoured to have danced with you," he said.
