Rylan and Scott Mills said they've never seen a Eurovision Song Contest celebrated to the scale Liverpool has delivered.
The city's initial bid for Eurovision was branded as over-ambitious by the Eurovision Minister, Stuart Andrew, but Liverpool has kept its promise on everything.
With celebrations only a few weeks away, this year's presenters admitted they've never seen anything quite like it. Rylan and Scott Mills have commentated on the event for years and even they claimed it's one for the history books.

Discussing the city's programme at a BBC press launch, Scott said: "I've done this for ten years and I've never seen as many events and special things going on around the city as this year."
Rylan added: "We are so lucky to work on this team. We've been to many a Eurovision, we know how things work. The team that is working on it, we know all of these guys personally, you really are in for the biggest show on earth. [Liverpool] really knows what they're doing and we can't wait to see it all come to life."
Liverpool has undergone a Ukrainian makeover with every inch of the city transformed, from art installations to banners draped across iconic buildings. Scott added: "To come out of Liverpool Lime Street station today and the first thing you see is St George’s Hall with all the Ukrainian colours and the flags, it just took my breath away."
Comedian Mel Giedroyc, who was also in attendance, described it as "the pinnacle of everything I’ve ever done." She said: "I got really teary getting in the cab from the station and when the driver said ‘and that’s the arena’ – teary. It’s going to be immense, isn’t it?"
