Ryanair has revealed the top five holiday destinations Brits are booking for summer holidays, and the Canary Islands are reigning supreme.
In fact, four of the five hotspots on the budget airline's list are Spanish islands; Lanzarote, Tenerife, Fuerteventura and Gran Canaria.
It's not surprising to see them proving such a hit; they've long been a firm favourite with UK holidaymakers thanks to the balmy summer weather, family-friendly resorts, beautiful beaches and plethora of fun things to do.
It's not just the Canaries that have been catching the eye of Brits for holidays though; the Greek Island of Santorini also made the cut as one of the top lusted-after holiday destinations for summer 2022.
The good news is that you don't need to break the bank if you do want to plan a getaway during the school holidays. When we took a look, Ryanair still had fares from £41.99 each way based on travel in August, across the Canaries as well as Santorini. You can find out more on Ryanair.com.
In the meantime, we take a look at the top five destinations and why they're worth having on your radar...
