Passengers who fly with Ryanair benefit from its cheap deals to popular holiday hotspots. The airline keeps costs down by offering a no-frills experience and charging extra for things such as hold luggage and seat reservations.
Yet sometimes passengers are left frustrated by their experience with Ryanair. One flyer took to twitter to complain about the amount of legroom he had on his flight.
Steve Merry shared a photo on Twitter of his knees squished against the seat in front of him and wrote: “I’m only 5”7 @Ryanair”. But the airline was quick to give a witty response to the disgruntled passenger.

The airline said on Twitter: “You going to update your tinder profile then?”. Steve soon saw the funny side and responded back by saying “I’m all about personality”. But Ryanair had the last laugh and wrote: “We believe you, Steve.”
Other social media users got in on the joke. @cphchurch87 wrote: “I’m 6"3 pal. It's fine. Sit up properly and don't slouch. You'll ruin your back otherwise”.
One Twitter user pointed out an error in Steve’s tweet. @Peckham_Heights wrote: “I’m 5’10” and I fit perfectly fine in your seats tbf. But I’m confused… Is that person 5 inches 7??”. Ryanair responded with a deadpan “Yes.”
Some Twitter users said that it’s just what you have to put up with if you want to benefit from the airline’s cheap prices. @markflack wrote: “To be fair, I’m 6’2” and it’s ok if I sit upright. Gotta be said that if I want to slide down to rest my head, it’s a problem… BUT no complaints, the prices are good and it does what it says on the tin. I fly RYANAIR several times a year”.
