Ryanair responds to passenger with genius extra luggage hack

One of the biggest problems many holidaymakers face before a trip away is working out how to fit all of their belongings into the airline's strict luggage restrictions. Anyone who has flown with Ryanair knows that avoiding the extra charges that come with wanting to carry on more bags can be a real struggle.

However, one woman has come up with a genius hack of potentially taking more possessions onboard with you whilst dodging the airlines additional fees, Bristol Live reports. Taking to Twitter to share her tip, journalist Bobbi Hadgraft uploaded a picture of a pair of designer black cargo trousers with tiny pockets plastered all over the front which social media users agreed could be a great 'investment'.

Its not uncommon for travellers to wear extra clothing on a flight to avoid the extra baggage charge on Ryanair which permits just one small bag on each flight without additional fees of up to £59.99 for added luggage. Bobbi tagged the budget airline in her travel hack which is known for its witty remarks on Twitter and the response was perfect.

Captioning the tweet as 'wearing these trousers next time I travel', the airline responded with a screenshot of the designer item from MJB (Marc Jacques Burton) which cost a whopping £1,280 on the website.

Ryanair jibed: "'£1,280?' Just pay for a bag, Bobbi." The journalist responded: "Currently have 15 flights booked on the app. This would be an investment."

Amused social media users fled to the comments to have their say on the debate. One person remarked: "It's an investment."

Another took a swipe at Ryanair as they said: "Cheaper than paying all of your hidden fees to be fair."

A third said: "Get to the airport 5 months early to get through security by the time they've searched your pockets and all." Somebody else wrote: "Hope I'm not behind you in security when they ask you to empty all your pockets."
