Ryanair passenger baffled as rude woman leans over her to film out window for uncomfortable duration

A Ryanair passenger was both baffled and fuming after a rude woman leaned over her to take a video out of the window for an uncomfortable period of time.

Danielle McLean was sitting at a window seat on a flight from Edinburgh to Gdansk in Poland on Tuesday when a cheeky stranger reached over her lap with a mobile phone in hand.

The 34-year-old said she was minding her own business but was bewildered when the woman continued to stretch across her to film from the window.

Danielle says she is a frequent flyer and regularly jets across Europe but has never seen anything quite like it.

The unknown passenger didn't attempt to speak while carrying out the awkward act.

Speaking to the Daily Record, Danielle said: "I just thought it was quite funny at first. The woman in the middle seat just starting leaning over me with her arm right across me taking videos out of the window.

"She just kept doing it during the flight. She didn’t even ask if I was okay with it.

"I know it can be quite annoying when you'd like a window seat and can't get one - but I was just so shocked that she kept leaning right over me.

"I don't know if she maybe didn't speak English so she didn't try to ask if it was okay.

"But she never said a word to me, she just kept leaning over me. I kept looking at her phone and then her."

Danielle regularly takes incredible day trips from Scotland to the likes of Amsterdam and Rome for as little as £12.99 (€15.50).

The retail worker snaps up bargain seats and jets across the globe visiting beautiful cities on the cheap.

Her latest trip to Gdansk cost her just £26 (€31) for the return trip - but despite the cheap airline ticket, she still didn't expect the rude attitude from the passenger sitting next to her.

Danielle said: "I was just in shock so I thought I'd take a picture and post it on social media.

"I was on my own anyway just sitting at the window seat so I didn't have anyone with me but I thought 'I have to take a photo'.

"She kept leaning across for the first hour until it got dark. It was a cheap £10 (€12) flight but I never expected to experience that.

"I just thought it was so funny. My friend said I should have told her to stay in her own area, but I don't have the kind of confidence to say that. I just thought it was so strange."
