Ryanair launches £15 sale to Spain, Portugal, Latvia and Poland as part of March 2023 deals

Ryanair is the latest airline to offer up discounts on one-way tickets as it launches a series of flights under £20 from Newcastle International Airport. Its price drop gives passengers the chance to jet off across Europe before the seasonal price hikes.

Travellers from Newcastle Airport can jet off to the likes of Latvia, Poland, Spain and Portugal for as little as £15.99 this March. The same routes would cost passengers up to £300 each way if bought during the upcoming Easter or Summer holidays.

Ryanair is a well-known budget airline as passengers can often find tickets for as little as £10 each way depending on the dates, however, popular holidays and bank holidays bump up the prices. We've rounded up the cheapest deals from Newcastle, including the exact dates passengers will pay the cheapest price.

First up is Gran Canaria, in the Canary Islands a popular March destination due to its all-year-round warm weather and beaches. The cheapest flight in March drops to £17.99 on Wednesday March 29, and return flights can be found days later from £22 each. The £39 return total is more than £400 cheaper than a return ticket at the end of July/ August (which exceeds £400 per person).

The cheapest flight out taking off from Newcastle is to Gdansk in Poland, at £15.99 per ticket on Sunday, March 12 or March 19. At £1 more expensive flights to Riga in Latvia are also featured on the March deals list from £16.99 each way on March 9. Return flights are even cheaper, passengers can return from Latvia for £15 each way, bringing the total to £32.98 per adult.

The island of Parma de Mallorca, off Spain, is also featured with flights at £19.99 each way. It's one of the more 'expensive' destinations in the sale but the average return price of £40 is considerably cheap compared to peak prices. Return flights at the end of August currently cost more than £350 per adult.

Ryanair has also started to drop its prices on the upcoming three May bank holidays, where flights can be found from £29.99 at a time where prices will soar due to rising demand.
