Ryanair issues 'savage' response to passenger complaining about seat

Ryanair is known for offering cheap flights to passengers’ favourite holiday destinations, allowing them to get away on a budget. Yet fans of the airline know that you should lower expectations when it comes to the flight experience.

Removing unnecessary extras and charging customers for add-ons is what helps to keep the airline so cheap. But sometimes this takes passengers by surprise.

One passenger even took to Twitter when he was baffled by the seat on board his Ryanair flight. Twitter user felix wrote: “@ryanair where’s the seat pouch? Can I pay extra for one? #costcutters”

Ryanair gave a quick-witted response back. The airline responded: “It’s a seat, not a kangaroo.”

Other twitter users soon joined in with funny responses. Sports journalist Sid Lowe replied: “If you did have seat pouches you could probably get some passengers in there, mind you.”

Meanwhile, Twitter user gatportairwick suggest bringing your own car seat organiser to hook onto the seat in front of you. Deborah Fagan Farnan joked: “They’ll be taking the seats out next standing room only.”

However some people saw the upside of not having a pouch. Twitter user Doobry wrote: “The last time I sat on a seat with a seat pouch, I left my passport in it.. Luckily they found it and I was reunited but it was 2,000 heartbeats I won't get back. I now always fly in a hoodie with massive pockets and try to keep everything in them if I'm not using it..!“
