A Ryanair flight attendant has died after being hit by a car near an airport. Cinzia Ceravolo, 36, was making her way home after arriving at John Lennon Airport in Liverpool.
She was hit by a Ford Focus at about 11.45pm on Monday, August 22, and suffered serious head injuries. She died on Friday.
Cinzia, who was Italian and lived in south Liverpool, had been away for two days working and had arrived at the airport from Dublin at 11.20am. A 30-year-old man from Speke was previously arrested on suspicion of causing serious injury by dangerous driving and drug driving, and was released under investigation.

Police are appealing for anyone with information or dashcam footage to come forward. Detective Sergeant Paul Evans, of Merseyside Police's Serious Collision Investigation Unit, said: "This was a tragic incident and our thoughts are with Cinzia’s family in what is such a difficult time.
"Anyone who believes they witnessed anything or have dashcam footage and hasn’t already come forward is asked to get in touch as a matter of urgency."
