One sharp Ryanair flyer has revealed a baggage trick that could save customers as much as £50 each time they book a flight.
The cost of adding baggage to a flight can quickly see costs soar, particularly for those who need to pack a lot of luggage. Tik Tok user Cloda Scanlon's (@orangeobviously) hack will therefore come in very handy.
When flying with Ryanair, booking storage for a 20kg is likely not necessary for most people. However, the airline does not offer a complimentary 10kg carry and it needs to be added as an optional extra.

People looking to save cash on their holiday should be aware that, when booking a flight with the airline, the first option available allows customers to choose their seats along with their bag. What many may not be aware of, however, is that a cheaper option is available.
By selecting 'value fare' and add a bag later, you could save dozens of pounds on the cost of your flight, as reported by the Daily Record. In the Tik Tok, Cloda explains: “If you want to save between €40 (£33) and €60 (£50) on your next Ryanair flight plus that 10kg bag, then keep listening.
“So I almost paid €192 (£161) for my flights and instead for the exact same flight with the exact same amount of luggage I’m only going to pay €133 (£111).

“So go into the Ryanair app and do your usual - picking your flights, picking your dates. Instead, go back to the booking page and choose the value fare."
This does not include a 10kg bag, but when you select 'continue' you are taken to another page on the website where you can add it back in for only €13.
Cloda continued: “That’s instead of what was €22 (£18.50) per person per journey, so go with a small bag and the value fare, then go through to the end to the booking page".
