Ryanair cabin crew ask passenger to 'play an Irish song' mid-flight on his accordion

A passenger aboard a Ryanair flight captured a wholesome moment between a flight attendant and another passenger.

In a TikTok video shared on the social media app, a cabin crew member can be seen asking a passenger to open his bag so he can check it.

To the cabin crews surprise, the man reveals he has an instrument, and says, ‘it’s an accordion”.

The heartwarming video has since gone viral and been viewed over 338,000 times.

The crew member responds, “an accordion, so you basically brought it on an Irish aircraft, an Irish company, but you’re not playing it, why are you not playing it?”

He adds: “no, no, no, you’re not getting me.”

The cabin crew repeats, “this is an Irish company and you have to play the accordion.”

The man, who appears to be a musician, is asked to play “an Irish song” mid flight.

The passenger sitting next to him explains what the stewards mean, and repeats, “it’s an Irish plane, you have to play an Irish instrument.”.

The man took his accordion out of his travel bag, and began performing “Dirty Old Town” by The Pogues.

He is joined by the man next to him who sings a few lines of the song.

Several people took to the comment section to share their thoughts.

One wrote: “Love to be on this plane.”

A second wrote: “I’m not even Irish and I got goosebumps.”

Another said: “ I’d have loved to have been on that flight."
