Ryanair Black Friday deals launch including cheap flights to Spain and Portugal

Ryanair is selling buy one, get one half price tickets across hundreds of European routes.

The budget airline has launched the Black Friday deal for flights leaving between November and February 15.

The tickets are available to buy until midnight on Friday, November 25, and are only valid on certain fares.

From London Gatwick the discount is available to Shannon, Cork and Dublin in Ireland.

Gdansk and Krakow are Polish destinations that are part of the deal for those flying from Birmingham, while Brummies can also get money off for flight to Barcelona and Malaga.

Those flying from Edinburgh can head to Copenhagen and Berlin with the 50% single ticket discount.

From Liverpool discounted rates are available on flights to Stockholm, Brussels and Faro.

Make sure to read all of the terms and conditions before booking a flight so you're not disappointed.

You can check out what other routes are covered by the discount on the Ryanair website.

This year huge numbers of people are currently on the hunt for a bargain trip, with 46% of adults in the country actively seeking out a holiday this Black Friday, according to UK Civil Aviation Authority research.

Almost two-thirds of the 18-34-year-old age group are on the hunt.

To offer a helping hand, the Civil Aviation Authority has revealed four important checks to make before you part with your cash.

One of the pieces of advice is to check for ATOL financial protection ahead of booking.

Travel companies selling air package holidays in the UK are required to hold an ATOL (Air Travel Organiser’s Licence) and the scheme also applies to some flight bookings.

If an ATOL licensed travel company ceases trading, the scheme protects their package holiday customers, making sure they don’t get stuck abroad or lose money if they are yet to travel.

Some non-UK travel companies will be advertising their deals over the Black Friday and Cyber Monday sales period to UK consumers; these companies should be ATOL licensed.
