Ryan Tubridy is urging his followers to "please ignore" an allegedly fake social media account that is using his name.
Taking to his official Instagram account, Tubs posted a screenshot of the fake account bearing his name which had 1.4k followers and 58 posts when he shared it. He said: "If anyone receives a message from this fake account, please ignore.
"Working on getting it removed.” The RTE star has previously spoken about his thoughts on social media, saying that going on Twitter after appearing on The Late Late Show is the “biggest mistake you can make ever”.

Ryan previously told The 2 Johnnies Podcast: "I’ve had to call guests sometimes on Saturday to say, ‘Please do not take that seriously’ because I feel really bad for them because they’ve been slaughtered.
"The only reason I know that is because I’ve been told. I’m not on it and I don’t go on it."
Last year, the RTE presenter said during a discussion on social media scams on his morning show that he had been approached by people saying his face kept coming up in ads for cryptocurrency. He he told his morning radio show listeners that he had "nothing to do with these ads you see".
"We are living in a generation of scams. The internet is alive and thriving with cruel scams."
