Ryan Reynolds watches on in disbelief as Wrexham suffer last-gasp FA Cup setback

Ryan Reynolds experienced the full range of emotions as he saw his Wrexham side trail, lead and eventually draw with Sheffield United meaning the two sides will go to a replay at Bramall Lane.

The National League leaders were minutes away from seeing off the Championship side, but John Egan dampened the crowd as he equalised in stoppage time with the Blades down to ten men. Sheffield United had led early on, but were pegged back and twice trailed.

Reynolds' involvement with Wrexham has seen their profile soar - and he was particularly animated in the stands before praising the home fans at the Racecourse Ground. Paul Mullin thought he was going to be the match winner when he put Wrexham 3-2 ahead late on.

Oli McBurnie had opened the scoring in the opening minutes before goals from James Jones and Thomas O'Connor put the non-league side 2-1 up. Oliver Norwood's effort then made it 2-2 just after the hour, shortly before Daniel Jebbison was sent-off for the visitors.

The two teams will go into the hat for the fifth round but the winner will be decided in Yorkshire after the highly-entertaining draw in front of one of Hollywood's finest.

Mullin, who thought he'd scored the winner, told the BBC after the game: "Very disappointed. To concede from one of the last kicks of the game from a set-play is gutting. If we just hold on against 10 men then we are through. I thought we were the better team throughout the game, creating chances and looking dangerous on the break. We limited them to not many chances in open play.

"I'm so proud of everyone. We've worked so hard to get here. We came into the game thinking we could win and we had a gameplan. Unfortunately it hasn't quite paid off but I think when the dust settles tomorrow we'll be proud of it."
